Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) problems are a very common reason for patients to consult with their GPs. The team at ENT Specialists provide a broad range of services, for which we can only provide a sample of in our web pages. Our Services

The specialty of ENT is one of the broadest. All ENT doctors are trained in the general aspects of ENT, and some then decide to progress their skills and knowledge in certain areas (we call this sub-specialisation and it is reflective of what has happened to general surgery over time, where there are now specialists for different parts of the body).

We have 2 ENT surgeons who work together to provide a comprehensive range of services.

We specialise in the following aspects of Ear Nose and Throat conditions:

	Sinus disease
	Sinus surgery, including advanced and revision surgery for patients who have previously had an operation
	Paediatric (childhood) ENT
	Functional, reconstructive, and cosmetic rhinoplasty

Our services are distinctive in the following respects:

	Dr David McIntosh is the only ENT Specialist working North of Brisbane who has both a PhD and additional training in caring for children
	Dr Daniel Timperley specialises in sinus surgery, skull base surgery, and rhinoplasty
	Routine availability of Day Surgery Tonsillectomy for all patients that fulfill our safety criteria, including children
	Utilisation of Coblation technology in nasal surgery and for tonsil, palate, and tongue base surgery
	Sinus and nasal surgery without the need for nasal ribbon packing
	Sinus surgery with computer assisted navigation technology
